Authors

Abstracts must be submitted by the deadline indicated in the Key Dates section.
All abstracts must be written in English and have a minimum length of 500 words.
Submissions must be made exclusively through the ConfTool platform.

Authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit their full papers for inclusion in the Proceedings of the 5th fib Symposium on Conceptual design of Structres 2026. Papers must be written in English and prepared strictly according to the official template, which can be downloaded below.

Full papers should be between 8 and 10 pages in length, including all text, figures, tables, references, and acknowledgements. Submissions must be made online only through the ConfTool submission platform. Please ensure that the title, keywords, and abstract are updated on the ConfTool system when uploading the final version.

All submitted papers will undergo peer review, and authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts prior to final acceptance. Accepted papers will be published in the Congress Proceedings. At least one author must register for the Symposium for their paper to be published in the proceedings, which are indexed in Scopus. The best papers will be evaluated for possible publication in the Structural Concrete, the journal of the fib.

Authors are kindly requested to follow the template formatting and style guidelines carefully, as papers not complying with the required format may be returned and risk exclusion from publication.

The data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will only be used for the purposes stated above.
